    Grong ist eine Kommune in Norwegen und gehört zur Fylke Nord-Trøndelag. Grong dehnt sich auf einer Fläche von 1.139 km² aus und hat etwa 2.400 Einwohner. Benachbarte Kommunen sind Høylandet, Lierne, Namsskogan und Snåsa. Grong liegt im inneren Namdal, wo der Namsen mit dem Seitenarm Sanddøla zusammenfließt, und ist das Zentrum der Region.
